A crowd of over 1000 turned out in Festival Square, Edinburgh, on Saturday 18th August to demand a People’s Vote on the final deal.
Speaking at the rally were: Gavin Esler, Femi Oluwole, Tanja Bueltmann, Vonnie Sandlan, Mitch Benn, Emma Currie, Rory Bremner, Dr Mary Ross-Davie, Malcolm Macloed, Steve Richards, EMiS President Lord Campbell and our Chair Vanessa Glynn.
Vanessa Glynn told the crowd:
“There is no good Brexit. There is rightly widespread pessimism about the impact of Brexit on Scottish jobs, businesses, farmers and public services.
“Scots believe that Brexit will make our nation’s economy weaker, Scotland’s NHS worse and our own families significantly poorer … Let’s stop talking about Brexit and start talking about what we want for our future.”
